MD Connect, a healthcare focused digital marketing agency, was yesterday recognized as one of America's fastest growing private companies by inclusion on the 2014 Inc. 500/5000 list. MD Connect was also included as one of the fastest growing companies in Massachusetts and Boston.
First introduced in 1982 (the Inc. 500 at the time and then expanded to 5000 in 2007), the Inc. 500/5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. To qualify, companies must have at least $100,000 of revenue in their base year and over $2M of revenue in their final year. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. MD Connect qualified with a growth rate of over 100%
